Happy Birthday, Sabrina (part 1)

Sabrina’s friend, Daisy, is leaving for California next week and won’t be back in time to celebrate Sabrina’s birthday, so we’d agreed at the last minute to let Sabrina have a sleepover/ early birthday party. Bella & Rees came over, too, but couldn’t spend the night because they already had 4th of July plans.
Due to a water balloon shortage at both Toys R Us and Fred Meyer, the girls had only a brief water balloon fight. We’d also bought some sea animal shaped water “guns” but they were kind of lame. Shoulda spent the money and gone for the super soakers.
We munched Cool Ranch Doritos, Ty grilled burgers and corn, I served carrots, celery, and cucumbers with Ranch, and, instead of a birthday cake, Sabrina opted for chocolate chocolate chip muffins and chocolate ice cream. The whole party cost less than $40. Epic.
After Bella and Rees left, Annelise, Sabrina, Daisy, and I drove through Fremont to check out the zombies.
